WTO Young Trade Leaders 2024

The Young Trade Leaders Programme has been established to bring young people closer to the work of the WTO. The selected participants for the 2024 programme are listed below.

ERIC ANDREW — Nigeria

Eric Andrew is the founder and Team Lead of AgrofixiNG, a nonprofit in Nigeria successfully implementing solutions in agriculture and the circular economy. Read more

PHOEBE BRITTEN — Australia

Phoebe Britten is the Founder and CEO of Inspire Tomorrow Education, a nonprofit that provides free tutoring and scholarship support for disadvantaged students across Australia. Read more

HUGH JONES — Canada

Hugh Jones is an articling student at Tereposky & DeRose LLP, a boutique international trade and investment law firm, in Ottawa, Canada. Read more

YASSINE KROUK — France

Yassine Krouk is a political science and international relations student at Sciences Po Lille. He is committed to advocating for more inclusive international trade. Read more

SUNNY LI — China

Shangyi (Sunny) Li earned her master’s degrees in international relations from both Tsinghua University and Johns Hopkins University. Her research has focused on global trade governance and international organizations. Read more

FLORENCIA MASTRORILLI — Argentina

Florencia Mastrorilli is a trade lawyer currently employed in the International Legal Trade Department of a multinational company that produces steel and provides various services. Read more

NASUBILA NG'AMBI — Malawi

Nasubila Ng’ambi obtained her LLB with distinction from Nelson Mandela University, South Africa. Her primary research interests revolve around emerging economies and international trade. Read more

ELINA SULTANBEKOVA — Kyrgyz Republic

Elina Sultanbekova is a passionate and accomplished student majoring in International Relations at Corvinus University of Budapest. Read more
